One main objective of the project was to rehabilitate the affected areas where floods were occurred at last several days. In these areas, a large number of water sources are damaged and entirely destroyed as well as water existed at many sources is contaminated and unsuitable for human consumption. Water sources which are located within these areas and mostly affected from these floods are dug wells, deep and shallow tube wells, water streams/ways, ponds and reservoirs. Consequently these sources are subjected to be rehabilitated and entirely destroyed sources are to be constructed again under this Flood Disaster Rehabilitation Project.
